Unlock Global Scholarship Opportunities

The University of Oxford, in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx), has launched a bold partnership under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Working with the Saïd Business School Foundation, the programme offers up to five AfOx Graduate Scholarships for the 2026–27 MBA intake.

These scholarships are open to African nationals who are ordinarily resident in an African country and who demonstrate a strong commitment to Africa’s development. They provide full coverage of course fees, a living expenses grant, and access to customised training, networking opportunities, and dedicated support before, during, and after studies at Oxford.

Covers the full course fees in addition to a generous living cost grant of at least £20,780 for the academic year.

The scholarship also includes access to tailored mentorship, leadership development programmes, and exclusive networking events, ensuring scholars have both the financial support and the professional resources needed to excel at Oxford and beyond.

Open to citizens of African countries who are ordinarily resident in Africa and can clearly demonstrate a strong, proven commitment to the continent’s development.

 Eligible candidates should show leadership potential, a track record of community engagement or professional contributions that advance Africa’s growth, and a clear vision for how their Oxford education will create positive, sustainable impact.

 Applicants are expected to embody values of integrity, innovation, and collaboration, and to be passionate about addressing Africa’s key social, economic, or environmental challenges.
